Senior Programmer/Analyst
We are currently seeking an experienced senior level programmer/analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the technical and teamwork skill sets required to hit the ground running.
Responsibilities include:
- Investigating and analyzing systems and business requirements in order to provide cost effective and efficient solutions to business needs.
- Designing and developing application code for solving complex problems in order to meet internal/external business requirements.
- Performing all levels of testing, including unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Providing planning, organization, and control while leading a small team of one or two programmers in project work to ensure that high quality solutions are developed to meet business requirements.
- Ensuring documentation is completed as required.
- Providing mentoring to other staff in order to help them progress in their professional development and optimize performance.
The successful candidate should possess a degree in Computer Science or Mathematics, with 5-7 years development experience. You will require a good working knowledge of:
- 5+ years of paid C# or VB.NET and ASP.NET experience
- 3+ years experience with smart client applications (PC and handheld)
- 5+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Stored Procedures, SSIS, Design)
- 3+ years experience with reporting writing (MS Reporting Services, Crystal Reports or similar)
- 3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
- Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, UML, Design Patterns, SOAP / Web Services
- Strong Object Oriented Development skills will be preferred
- Proven knowledge of creating large web-based applications
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills with the ability to organize and plan tasks effectively will be evident.
Commitment to quality client service and continual learning is necessary.
Willingness to work in a team environment and with customers is required.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Programmer/Analyst
